Dougjn: Fair question. The good stuff comes pursuant to plowing into the markets following the infrequent Brinker gift horse buy signals. After a time, Brinker's "tone" begins to speak to the long time listener more resonantly than the words themselves. Thus, as one example, Brinker's clearly perturbed, if not agitated, tone of discontent just prior to the collapse of the overblown technology issues around mid-1996 offered the astute listener some golden opportunities for profit and/or capital preservation. Oftimes, the calibre of the callers themselves speak volumes about the health, strength, and direction of the market in the short term. As an aside, the latest 10 point plunge in Coca-Cola shares comes as no surprise to Starship regulars. Confer post #1122. I also much enjoy Brinker's political insights and prophecies, as well as his sharp, sardonic wit. Et cetera. Ps. Then again, I should want to be listening if and when Brinker gives a bear market signal with that "shot heard 'round the world."
