What kind of garbage remark is this? This is not true and you know it.

That amount is (a) in no way a contingent payment, and (b) has been insured so that there can be no conflict of interests. This is money HAL owed Cheney. Since it was money already owed, hedging it was a totally appropriate way of dealing with it. This is another liberal lie.

BTW, citing a story in the "Guardian" hardly qualifies as supporting a statement. It is similar to citing the National Enquirier.
