I have no idea what your question means
in numerator and denominator ???
try again please, and I will be glad to attempt an answer

as for lag issue, I believe EURO interest in GOLD is not so much lagging, as it is a direct consequence of having the EURO rise first among the floating doomed fiat currencies

when the JYEN continues, GOLD will continue
if the EURO relaxes a little at that time, then the GOLD:EURO ratio will run up and catch up and join the worldwide gold bull market

the European pricing of GOLD is now a pure reflection of speculative vulnerability of the EURO, when traders sought an alternative to the crippled USDollar

the ECB did not defend the EURO like the Japanese defended the JYEN
whether defense is wise, that is another question altogether
