I would back up my comment with the fact that God tells us that due to our fallen nature we have been given over to a depraved mind. How can someone with a depraved mind be illuminated to the truth of the gospel witout God's intervention? Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– Great topic for ( loving ) discussion though. loving? Tis the key, is it not?
