If He chooses only a fraction to be saved, then He also consciously chooses others to be condemned to eternal damnation - for crimes ALL are guilty of. If this is true, then we don't have all the facts because everything He does is perfectly just. If He is not hiding some pertinent facts from us, this cannot possibly be just and so it isn't true.

Plus, there are these passages:

John 1
7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.

John 12
31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself." 33He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.

Romans 5
18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

Romans 11
31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[1] receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. 32For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
