Steve, I have many Jewish friends. As an Italian, I have the utmost respect for Jews. In most cases they are people who should be admired and emulated for the contributions they've made to our society.

In many ways, just like Italians, their strength comes from the family.

Last September 11th I flew to Cuba. In the back of my mind I must admit there was a fear of taking the plane that day, knowing and thinking that possibly some idiot would do something stupid on the anniversary of 9/11. I was tense the whole flight, a feeling I never had before. I can just imagine the Israelis living with that fear every day of their lives. Whether getting on a bus, going to school or sitting at a cafe. I would not be able to live under those conditions. Life is too short to waste your time living in fear.

There are fanatics on both sides of the issue. I don't know who is right and who is wrong. Fact of the matter is that at this point in time right and wrong has become irrelevant. The only way you will settle this problem by fighting is if one side annihilates the other. Are you prepared to do that?

The only other alternative is to cast religious extremism aside and bring REASON back into the equation. Maybe then peace will return.

As far as the clowns on this board, keep in mind that they are just that, clowns.
