You have never accounted for the fact that Osama Bin Laden stated in '98 that he would work to get us, and to hell with collateral damage. I have answered you.......OBL has been gunning us for a long time. An American foreign policy that aggravates the world and creates enemies for us did not start in 1998. We have been supporting ME bad guys for years. You have not shown that failing to act in Iraq would lessen his resolve and support. My God, are you only listening to the FOX cable channel? We are firming his resolve and support. If you doubt that, look no further than Sharon. The more he pounds the Palestinians, the worse it gets. Even the Israelis are beginning to the see the stupidity of a Sharon. I don't know how long it will take Americans to fully comprehend the mess Bush has gotten us into. Violence begets violence. Its in the bible. Osama openly waits for Americans to be weak, and works to assure Muslims that we will be, in order to GET willing followers. Bush has weaken us. He has divided our country and put us into a war that will never be won. For OBL's recruitment efforts, Bush is the best thing to come along in years. The man believes it is right to kill anyone who doesn't adhere to his religion. The man wants the Muslim holy land free of non Muslims. He is an ideologue and very sick so he goes about making that happen in a screwed way. You believe that not crossing him in Iraq would mollify Muslims who believe as he does and lessen the ranks of his supporters and the number of attacks against us. I believe that attacking Iraq pre-emptively has aggravated a people who are over 1 billion strong and worsened their impression of us. Nothing short of the conversion of America to his version of Isalm or the thorough and forthright forceful removal of those who act as he wills, will deter attack. Link me to where he has said that. And if you are that fearful, why are you not demanding that we put our full resources into finding him instead of perpetrating a no win war in Iraq?
