Also, Colin Powell is not a Republican. He works for Bush but he's never told anyone what his party is Care to correct this inaccurate statement? Links below list and link to speeches Powell gave to his "fellow Republicans" at Republican National Conventions. The first one is a speech in which Powell addresses at great length why he is a Republican. Given that you follow politics so closely, I am mystified as to how you could have missed this. Virtually everyone with a passing interest in politics over the years was aware that there was much speculation over which party Powell would indicate he was a member of, which the 1996 speech answered quite eloquently.
