The founders wanted to give the people an additional check and balance on Government. In a document that lists a lot of other Checks and Balances on Goverment, it would only make sense to emphasize the MOST IMPORTANT REASON. The founders didn't list all the reasons why the right to the people to keep and bear arms, just the most important one. There isn't room in the document to list even five different reasons, the major reason is good enough. We are all part of the unorganized militia described in the 2nd amendment. Be ready, be prepared, be trained in firearms.
