The Japanese chipmakers have been some of the strongest spenders of late, and they are much more prone to buy domestic equipment, thus making it appear that the Japanese equipment vendors could be stealing share. But once the broader recovery is underway with stronger orders from Taiwan and the US, I believe you will change your hypothesis. Brian
