Who knows what the market in general will do next year.
But it's certain the insiders involved in the primary contracts promoted by this president will do very, very well.

"Profiteering (from) his own future stake in the Carlyle Group"? What's the market going to do next year?

I guess one of the things that bothers me is lack of transparency, or even the attempt at transparency on the billions being coerced from the Treasury. They've shifted fiscal responsibility to Condi Rice, a person whose primary distinguishing characteristic from the others is having immunity from Congressional investigation -- apparently, the secret 1947 Nat Sec Act somehow prevents Congress from even asking questions of the NS advisor. If you wanted to protect a few billions in skim that would be a logical move.

If we didn't have a spineless Congress they'd remedy that.
