When Rummy came in, Armor was running the Army, and they had done as they pleased for eight years under Clinton, who cut their budget, but didn't dare say "boo" to them. Shiniski made the mistake in the first month of telling Rummy to go to hell. He found his replacement picked the next day.

We were in the middle of "Berets for everybody" and the "An Army of One!" crap. It is still suffering from the "PC" that had built up. Witness the Wahhabi Chaplains.

Rummy has cleaned out a lot of the "Perfumed Princes" in the Pentagon. And a lot more need to go. Way too top heavy.

Gonna be nice to have you around to argue with, JFQ. Steven's welcome gave you a good "Brand Name" with me.
