I think this has been at work all along here and the wee dips were nothing but a healthy (trend-wise) loading of fuel: Message 19274421 I am no more bullish today that I was yesterday or last week or whatever. I am only remembering something I believed back then and am thinking again lately that this is the only way the good short is setup. I don't think we are very far from this either. I am struck by the gradual change in tone of friends, the press, and advertising (market and financial services). It ain't exuberance yet, but it's not far from it. It's been a tough whipsaw the last few months. Last Friday we saw the SPX drop back near the June highs... not exactly strong momentum. I'll go with SPX 1082 (fuzz: +12, -9) for a turn target for a winter decline.
