Russ, I think Auerbach is leaving something out of his analysis: the unmistakable signs of an incipient currency crisis in the dollar. Any decline in the dollar means a corresponding gain in "stuff" priced in dollars. The trade that is slowly gaining headway is "fluff for stuff," that is, paper currencies and obligations (especially in dollars) for real assets: commodities, land, and gold. /Kit
