Clinton's people created the military we have now. Don't knock it. Recent poll in the Army's newspaper show Clark and Kerry together get over 50% of their votes. Bush gets one third. The most important thing to know about soldiers is that they just want a clear mission properly planned with a clean exfiltration strategy. In Iraq, none of that was there. The invasion was the easy part. Knowing what the hell to do there once they've taken over was the key. Maybe this is because not a single right-wing leader has ever been in combat. They don't understand that soldiers need clarity and smart leadership.
