The moon was reddish orange last night.

That was one of the damndest sights I've ever seen.

This fire is something else. No one I talk to has been
through anything like this. Day after day, raining ash.
Driving around, you see people here and there, wearing
surgical masks over their faces. The smoke covered sky,
the burning smell. I washed the ash off my car the other
day, and by the time I put everything away and went back
to the car, it had flecks of white ash on it again.

Sunday, the sun was a bright reddish orange pumpkinish
color. You look at the light filtering through the
windows on the carpet and the sunlight is orange.

California just can't seem to catch a break anymore.
