Jeff, the only people who got into groupthink were those that were looking for shepherds. The whole concept was to empower folks to make their own decisions based on a rational set of metrics. Consider that huge portions of your (and my) losses were due to LEAPS options, which were never part of the GG. My friend, when you finally start to take responsibility for your own decisions, good and bad, you'll be on the road to recovery.

Your myopia about the levels of groupthink on the GG thread are what got you (and most of us) into trouble the first time. To try to single out "those that were looking for shepards" denies your own (and others) also having gotten caught up in a groupthink mentality that caused most to hold on long after we should have exited these stocks. Why? Because the group kept reinforcing faulty investing ideas and rejecting any ideas that were contrary to the GG strategy (often by vilifying those that disagreed as "trolls"). EVERYONE here got caught up in it, not just the "sheep", as you disparagingly put it. And, while it is true and many of your (and my) losses were to LEAPS options, they actually paled compared to the money that we lost by not selling when we had substantial gains. As for taking responsibility for my actions, I have. When will you?
