How many attacks in the last week? 250? That is far more than a "rearguard" action. And if it is true than very very few Iraqis still see the US as liberators then the stage is set for things to get worse, not better. When you round up thousands of people you connect to tens of thousands of family members who will not let this occupation stand. Iraq is descending into guerilla war that could easily morph into civil war and regional war.
