> This approach is no different then the New Deal accept the New Deal actually created jobs and went a huge way in building the US istructure. In the New Deal they borrowed money with the idea of building America -- not IRAQ!

Bushs approach is simply to hand more money to those who already have more then then can reasonably use and pray and hope that they will suddenly decide to hire some of us little folks.

When the sugar rush subsides and the rug rats crash -- then the adults will have to take over the economy and pay down all this foolish debt.

Keep in mind, however, that the GOP could care less about deficits. Deficits are a win/win for them and theirs politically. 1) It puts government in a position to CUT necessary spending (outside defense); with the DEMS having to make those cuts and forced to look bad doing so. 2) It awards those who have been the biggest supporters to the GOP through irresponsible tax cuts.
