Our leaders understand the importance of our relationship with the Chinese people. Just as leaders of China understand the importance of their relationship with the people of the US.

They understand that there is strength in having common goals. That to be divisive and rude would create chaos and weakness.

I do not recall a modern leader of either country resorting to insults for a very long time....even during difficult moments.
