Greetings to all the children of God in Christ.

We are a family, brothers and sisters of Christ and children of God, trapped in our corrupted earthen vessels. Our spirit man cries out against the weakness of our fallen flesh. In the spirit, we love the bretheren, but in the flesh we bite and tare at each other and harm one another and the Body of Christ. We have difficulty reaching the nonbelievers because the ugliness of our putrifying flesh obscures the beauty of the recreated spirit man within us. Let us strive to let the spirit man dominate.

Each true Christian has a spiritual gift imparted by the Holy spirit and valuable for the edification of the Body of Christ. We all need each other. It is difficult to grow without trusting in our brothers spiritual gifts. The grace of God operates within us and teaches us many things but God demands that we trust in the members of his Body the Church. Our arguments and disagreements come about mostly because we fail to discern the gifts operating in our and brother lives. Some are called to be prophets, some preachers, some teachers, some administrators and some Apostles. Each contributes to the edification of the Body. Each gift if to be honored, loved and respected. No one has all the gifts and consequently we should be humble and learn from those with the gifts we lack. Instead, it seems that we bite at one another and fail to recognize and honor the gifts of our brothers. Some use their gifts to lord it over their brothers. Others are to prideful to acknowledge their weakness and the need of their brothers. When we fail to use the gifts that God provides to the Body, we become weak and Satan devours us one by one. Let us pray for humility and love of the brethren.

This is written for all of us, including myself. May the love of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all as we try to unite and harmonize the family of God.
