Dave, It is relatively recent in that early in this decade the Securities Act of 1934 was ammended to allow more of this stuff. Yes, there must be legal precedents here, but I suspect since we are dealing with penny stocks (eventually after the floorless do their do-do) lawyers may not find much profit in this and subsequently not much case history.
