Waiting for an Entry
10/30/03 01:47 PM ET

It looks like we have a little post-lunch lull. We are drifting down a tad as volume slows. Breadth is now on the positive side, with about 3,300 gainers to 3,100 losers. Chip stocks continue to be the primary upside leadership.

I'm seeing a drop in the number of interesting setups on my screens, but there are still things I'm interested in accumulating, even though the broader market looks a bit tired. I've been adding to a number of positions rather than making new buys. A couple I've added include Corillian (CORI:Nasdaq) and Pumatech (PUMA:Nasdaq).

I continue to like the upside potential for many smaller stocks, but I'm waiting for better entry points, which may be either higher or lower.

Long: CORI, PUMA.
