OT: well, it is different in a way. The biggest diff is that MCD and other fast food places haven't been financing researchers to put the lie to how bad fat is for you, haven't been suppressing internal studies that say their food will kill you, and so on. The tobacco companies did. Notwithstanding that, anyone who has been smoking in the past fifteen years is an ostrich if they say they didn't know it would cause cancer in spite of big tobacco's best efforts to convince everyone otherwise. What I can't understand is anyone who still smokes. Cheers WUWT
