The potential for vote fraud with new e-voting methods is of growing concern to thousands of concerned citizens. The AP story is welcomed by me and many others. I hope it breaks through some of the apathy of the American public. Today, Democracy NOW! featured a couple of segments on the potential for vote fraud with our new electronic systems. Featured guests included Rep. Rush Holt (D. NJ) who has introduced legistation to provide an auditable paper trail to new systems, and an Independent-UK newspaper reporter who has written an important article on the potential for vote fraud with our brave new world of electronic voting. democracynow.org Also, the Electronic Frontier Foundation is concerned about the potential for abuse: democracynow.org
