Who in his right mind would have let Moore in their house.

Moore filmed that too. He stopped by and asked for an appointment. Chuck has valets or butlers or personal secretaries to set up these interviews for him. He didn't just waltz in, he had to come back at the appointed day. Moore told him he was an NRA member making a film which was true and flattered him for awhile until Moses began talking in his NRA persona. It was deceptive perhaps, but very real.
