Re: "? Poll after poll show the Iraqis want us out of there."

That does not contradict my statement that they want the sort of government they are getting thanks to us.This does NOT ignore what the people want. Your limited poll interpretation does.

If you all are so sure that's what they want, then why can't you leave to their devises........which, afterall, is also what they want?

We turned our back on them before. If we get out now, we'll be doing it again. You want a dirty bomb to explode in my neighborhood? We'll invite that if we leave now.

Trust me.......whether we leave now or 5 years from now, that dirty bomb is still coming. That's because we have yet to find and imprison the terrorists who went after WTC. At the rate we're going, its not likely we will.

Re: "Will you still be at peace when a dirty bomb goes off in your neighbhorhood?"

Yes, if I know we at least tried to prevent it. We have Iraqi's on our side...policemen fighting with us, and people glad life is in many ways better already than it had been for 30 years. Iraqi's face the prospect of getting a modern infrastructure they should have had long ago. They ARE fighting with us against those still attacking(whom you should be busy decrying, instead of recommending running from).
