Tetra Tech Gets $12 Million Government Pact

PASADENA, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Tetra Tech Inc. received a $12 million, seven-year contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development to provide consulting, engineering and policy development services in the Philippines.
In a press release Tuesday, the consulting company said USAID's Fisheries Improved for Sustainable Harvest program is set to improve biological diversity and increase sustainable harvest in the Philippines marine ecosystem.

In the fiscal year ended Sept. 29, 2002, Tetra earned $34.4 million on revenue of $740.7 million.

Nasdaq-listed shares of Tetra Tech recently traded at $20.05, down 42 cents, or 2.1%.
