we'll have to see because the problem is, being from Calfornia I just went through two major polling misfires, one with the Arnold sweep and another one in 98 when republicans were supposed to take major seats and instead got booted. In both of these cases there was one common ingredient 1) anger of electorate. My conclusion is that polls fall apart with an angry voting public, just like stock market technical indicators fall apart on breakouts. Both sides are angry about Bush imho. The battle will probably be fought in some of these tough states like Michigan I suspect, or Florida again. Whatever happens, the polls won't predict it I'll bet.
