Hello Pezz, Tonight's Interim Report:

I stood in the lonely arena tonight, shouting into the darkness that is enveloping Russian shares, 'fear me'.

Acting as the buyer of last resort, I bought a top-up dollop of Yukos @ 46.75/shr in augmentation of these four dollops:

Message 19449177 <<October 30th, 2003>> @ 48.5/shr

Message 19309143 <<September 16th, 2003>> @ 60/shr

But my orders for the other two Russian energy shares is going begging, so far, because the volume is precisely zero and exactly zip, not because lack of bidding, but due to absence of asking.

We will see how the last 40 minutes of non-trading will go.

Since I do have Lukoil and Gazprom in another account with another broker, I can, in theory, sell my shares to myself, and set the month-end closing (fiscal year-end closing for mutual funds) price for these two mega shares for the entire planet, galaxy and universe ;0)

Chugs, Jay
