Here's the part that explains the whole passage in context.

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7

Jesus says He never knew them. If they had been saved He would have known them. Even if what you believe were true, that they were saved and fell from grace, Jesus would have known them at one time. But He says He never knew them. They were never saved. They went to Church, thought they were saved, apparently worked with "spiritual gifts", but were not born again. The spiritual gifts therefore were coming from somewhere else, not the Lord and the Holy Spirit. I have seen this myself in different churches too. People apparently using spiritual gifts and I do not witness to it at all. And when you think about it what better way to keep a person from being born again than to make them think they already are. Perfect deception imo.
