PT,

Re: Spent most of my time living and traveling 'round in my camper, with little to no communications.

I recall a moment in my life when I decided to tune out on all so-called "news". My happiness rose dramatically. After a few days of this, I decided to drop in on a car dealer about trading in my camper-van on a more modern contrivance. When the salesman offered to clue me in on the news, I declined and said I didn't want to know. I didn't do the deal. Thank gawd.

And I found out several days later that he wanted to inform me about the shootings at Columbine.

There are some aspects of modern life that simply aren't worth knowing about.

I'm strongly encouraged by the notion of going camping. Whoever suggested that ignorance is bliss never realized how important this concept is in the world we live in today.
