For that matter, the same observations applied to the South African whites, LOL

Mandela never promised to drive them into the sea. He even said good things about respecting their rights and democracy and all that. When somebody declares from morning til night that you are nothing but a thief who deserves to die, it makes you less willing to put yourself into his power.
