Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "Mandela never promised to drive them into the sea. ..." So? Plenty of blacks did. And there are plenty of examples of Palestinians who never said they'd drive the Israelis "into the sea". By the way, your description of Israel's senior military commander's comments as a "leak" (see #reply-19454013 ), misses the point. He didn't "leak" anything. He hauled in columnists from three leading newspapers and told them that Sharon is an idiot in no uncertain terms. The situation is reminiscent of similar blowups in the American military over the Iraq invasion. But our guys don't put up with that kind of lip from the military, and the various generals lost their jobs. -- Carl
