Gee, FOXNews led us to believe it was the fault of Davis and the environmentalists that the fires began.

What's even more amazing is that Davis refused to reduce the state's forestry budget, even though pressured to do so because of the state's severe monetary crisis. Now it appears he had the prescient forsight to request addtional protective funds from the feds six months before the fire even happened. Of course,

The Terminator, of course, would have made the cuts, got money from the feds and would even have put the fire out himself were he governor at the time. Yeah, we all know that, don't we.

All considered, perhaps Davis really was the governor he was supposed to be and people just didn't realize it. I wonder how the recall effort would have been if it had begun three weeks after Davis got elected instead of two weeks after he got elected. Indeed, yet another example of GOPwingers making a mockery of the electoral process.
