well I finally (kind of) joined the real world

on Thursday they, Comcast, installed broadband; after a 2 year wait of one promise after another
we were the last on the planet to get it?
but a deal at $19.95 a month for 6 months then $43
I can cancel my isp and extra dedicated phone line and actually save money

so Thursday afternoon I went to the local computer store and ordered a new box
called this morning to say it was ready

ATX case
Intel P4 2.4gz
P4800s i484 Asus mother board
40GB drive
Matrox 32 duel head and G Force 64 MX440 PCI vedio cards (to support 3 monitors)
CDRW
wireless keyboard and mouse
512 DDR 2700 ram
Windows XP
$850
seems like a decent price

son came over this afternoon, installed everything

so I am now SMOKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
