The posts on this board have reached trickle level.

This was one of my favorite SI groups primarily because of the debate between the shorts and the few longs. I know the goal here is to make money on this stock, but there was also such strong emotional beliefs on what the price of YHOO should be.

Being in the fundamentally short camp, I have to hand it to YHOO with purchasing technology with shares of their stock. It's like buying something for $.20 on the dollar.

I hope with the introduction of options, we can see a little more volatilty. It also provides a few more avenues for betting on the downside. I remember not too long back, when the bio-tech bubble burst. First the conventional wisdom was that you had to look 2-3 years out to realize that the sector was undervalued. Then, almost overnight the attitude swung to we want to see earnings now.

I remember watching FNN (when it was still called that) and here O'Neil recommend buying USS (US Surgical) at $120/share PE like 100+. Well he was right for a while because it went to $138 before it bottomed out I think around $13. I'm sure others can cite even more dramitic plunges by good companies with over extended share prices. I guess I hope to see YHOO peak at least a few points higher.
