A lot of things could have been different after war in Iraq.. then we are still at war and in battle you adjust..

Not being there it is hard to say why they didn't want to keep Iraq Army together other than many of the leaders were loyal to Saddam and it may have been a situation of not being able to tell who was who.. Perhaps things could have been a lot worse if they kept the Army together?
