Email & Trade Payment Concerns

I do not work for PCFN, but can defend some concerns mentioned here.

It is very considerate of you all to Email, rather than call PCFN in order to conserve their resources, however, if it's something important, YOU SHOULD CALL! The seperate customer service number should be used, and you will probably hold for 10 minutes before getting anyone, but its THEIR DIME, so don't worry about it. Also, once you get a person, be patient, tell them you understand they are overwhelmed, but could they please stick with your problem, even if it means putting you on hold and/or asking a supervisor, UNTIL YOUR PROBLEM IS RESOLVED.

If you need to pay for a trade, you should only send checks to the New Jersey Bank where they hold their accounts. Your payment will be processed MUCH FASTER that way. If you can pay your bills online, like I do with CitiBank, that's even better, as they are members of online payment systems (this is not a wire transfer; there is no charge, but it still takes a day or two to clear like a check) I suggest that if you use first class postage mail, always register the letter if possible, no need for a return post card. You can always just maintain a balance as they pay around 4% money market compounded daily, but you must apply seperately for it.

I really think PCFN is a good service for 2 cents a share, but like you've all said, they are going through growing pains, and I'm very confident they will adjust much more quickly and comprhensively then their competitors.
