This is an excellent point.

Although I wasn't entirely sold on the necessity
for the Iraq invasion, I am actually more concerned
about HOW WE ARE CONDUCTING this war as opposed
to our decision to fight this war in the first place.

It seems that our soldiers are being put
in an untenable position because we are
fighting a "P.C." war.

One example that comes to mind is that recently we
suffered some casualties when our soldiers on
patrol noticed a large group of armed men assembled
on the street after curfew. Our soldiers attempted
to "negotiate" with this group of armed men
and were ambushed. What is this "negotiation" crap?
The curfew was well known. I believe this was
also in the "triangle region" where we have been
experiencing attacks. Why didn't our ground patrol
just back off, call in the coordinates to our air
command, and have them take care of the whole group
with a well-placed bomb?
