The only way to buy American products would be to import Chinese people to the US to make the products, in say, Montana or Wyoming. Which is obvioulsy not an option for Americans. Hence the products would continue to be made in China and imported. Importing Chinese people to develop the US is not new. "In February, 1865, the Central Pacific decided to try a new labor pool.
