Yes, I'd agree with you, when Jordan (or any Muslim nation, or Spain in 1492) expelled their Jews, this is racism. Or, even if they don't officially expel them, if they make life so difficult for them, they all leave, it amounts to the same thing
Okay, fine. So why does Israel get pounded on more for minor offenses than the Arab countries for major ones? Also, the rules that you throw up as examples of racism, such as not allowing the Palestian spouse of an Israeli Arab to move to Israel, are neither racist in intent nor of long standing. They were implemented recently, because several suicide bombers had married Israeli Arabs to gain access to Israel. Just picture our immigration policies if Mexican radicals were blowing themselves up in Texas! To pound Israel alone for measures taken with an intent of self-defense, not racism, while ignoring massive Arab offenses, is unbalanced to say the least. |
