Kerry never threw away any medals and never said he did. He threw a few ribbons over to the Vietnam Wall in a solmen painful tear-jerking protest in 1972. At the time it was the right thing to do. He kept his Silver Star, Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts on his wall. You should leave those cape buffalo alone. Some day they might be extinct. Stick with plentiful species. Otherwise, put an assault rifle into the hands of the cape buffalo so he can shoot back at you. Then it's a sport.
