...personally, for the most part, I think this problem of religion is unintentional with regard to the more established religions. These religions have a basis in "truth", but unfortunately are still very human institutions that can't help become compromised as a result.

Just take a quick look at the Episcos, and see how divided they are now over a perfectly benign issue.
