I think that many times the characterization of Nazi, Bircher or McCarthyist when applied to some people on this board may not be that inaccurate.
To be accurate, the posters would actually have to be members of a neoNazi party or the John Birch Society, right? McCarthy is a lot tougher; he's been dead a while.
So in almost all and possibly all cases, they are slurs, not accurate descriptions.
NOW: Tell me the difference between that and the use of the T-word.
I agree that there is a lunatic fringe on the left also, that comes across as completely not based in reality.
