I agree 100 percent. The quotes around mandatory were meant to suggest with raised eyebrow that the spending isn't mandatory at all. I've decided to tell Original Wife that all spending on beer, pizza, TV/cable/satellite packages, Cubs season tickets, and sports magazines is "mandatory", because I am used to having some of these things and really want the rest. I wonder how far that'll get me. LOL
