Ten, re: Besides, I personally think the fears of America becoming a Nazi-like police state are even more irrational than the fears of terrorism. Well, at least you admit that fears of terrorism are irrational. I'm more afraid of the government taking away our freedoms than some outside force. I guess in that way I'm an ultra right wing wacko conservative. re: Security is freedom, and vice-versa. No, the opposite is true. Freedom has to be constantly defended, it's the most insecure thing in the world. That's one of those old conservative principles that seem to have been forgotten by the new, talk show, Project for the New American Century conservatives. Along with balanced budgets, no nation building, free trade, and a healthy dose of isolationism. These guys are not your traditional conservatives, they have an agenda, and no principle is going to stand in their way. John
