A bit of historical background : At midnight Aug 14/15 , 1947 Lord Mountbatten declared the formation of 2 countries : India and West Pakistan + East Pakistan (currently Bangladesh). Pakistan chose to implement its Idependence Day on Aug 14. India chose Aug 15. none of this has anything to do with the people of both countries. Inter governmental issues are the hurdle to be overcome.
