Perhaps the route taken was the best one, after all. It's hard to tell since others didn't get a fair hearing.


These terms get tossed around. Clinton "Criminalized", ie., took the Law enforcement approach to the 93 bombing of the Trade Center. This meant that the FBI took case, and the CIA was not even allowed to see the evidence. That approach swept it off the International Terrorist table.

The main usage of the "Law Enforcement" approach seems to come from those who want to confine the investigation strictly to Al Qaeda types who were involved with 911. Some want to expand that to all Al Qaeda, but all want to stop it there and not look at Hamas, etc, as an enemy.

Only go after bad guys we can convict in our courts after they have been read their rights and given the benefit of being treated as if they were American Citizens.
