Russia's Mosenergo 9 mth loss narrows

MOSCOW, Nov 4 - Moscow utility Mosenergo on Tuesday posted a net loss to Russian Accounting Standards of 1.067 billion roubles (about $36 million) for the first nine months of 2003, less than a forecast loss of 1.6 billion roubles. The company, the Moscow unit of Unified Energy System, reported a net loss of 3.4 billion roubles for the first nine months of the previous year.

Sales revenues were about 51.4 billion roubles. Last year the company reported sales revenues of 33.7 billion
